I've just begun research on a new series of prints, drawings, and sculptures on the myth of the minotaur. In 2008 I created two pieces around this myth, a sculpture titled "Minotaur" and a print "Theseus Slays the Minotaur". In this new series I'm going look at not just the minotaur but also the other important characters of the myth.
Ashley, you're making me want to make sculptures. teach me! or better yet, maybe you should photograph your process. that could be an interesting blog post. or maybe you don't want to give away your secrets. :)
I like this pieces, most of your pieces are very expressive with a lot of presence. Good stuff!
